A laborer or labourer is a person who works, especially in the  and factory industries. Laborers are employed in the construction industry, such as road paving, building, bridges, tunnels, railway tracks. Laborers work with  tools, , , , and small , and act as assistants to other trades as well, such as operators or cement masons

Job Duties:

• Clean work areas - sweeping, cleaning all tables and surfaces, racks, and machines.
• Comply with all applicable legislative and health and safety and environmental policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work a flexible 8 hour shift, Monday to Saturday.
• Observe equipment operations so that malfunctions can be detected and notify engineering of any malfunctions
• Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
• Ensure compliance with set policies and procedures within ISO
• Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by supervisor

‍JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift Medium to heavy lifting, 25lbs to 50lbs multiple times on a daily basis
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating temperatures
• Comfort to work with machinery in a safe and conscious manner
• Basic math, reasoning and comfort with work instructions in English
• Flexibility with working rotating Day, Afternoon & Nights Shifts
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety Rules and Regulations;
